15% Cu Copper Clad Aluminum Wire For Surface Braided Shielding Wire

Short Description:

Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) is a clad bi-metal utilizing electrical conductor grade aluminum as its core and oxygen free copper for its outer layer. The cladding process creates a permanent continuous weld between the two metals. The composite wire is uniquely suited to electrical applications where weight and conductivity issues are critical. The copper makes up either 10%, 15% or 20% of the cross sectional area of the wire and assures excellent solderability.

  • 1.Copper clad aluminum wire produced by advanced cladding welding process. The copper layer is made of high-purity fine copper with high density and good electrical conductivity, which achieves metallurgical bonding with the aluminum core wire and has good closeness; the copper layer is evenly distributed along the circumference and longitudinal direction with good concentricity.

2.Under the condition of the same quality and diameter, the length ratio of copper-clad aluminum wire to pure copper wire is 2.45:1~2.68:1, which reduces the cost of cable production.

3.Copper-clad aluminum wire is more malleable than pure copper wire, and unlike aluminum, it does not generate insulating oxides, so it is easy to process and handle.

4.Copper-clad aluminum wire is light in mass, which is easy to transport and install construction.
